Army havildar commits suicide

Salem, Jun 27 (PTI) An Army havildar allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence here today, police said.The 39-year-old havildar, who joined the Army in 1989, was posted in the Sagar Regiment in Madhya Pradesh and had come home on his annual vacation, they said.He was supposed to have joined duty today, but had applied for medical leave saying he was suffering from jaundice ...
