Curtis Nelson: radar technician

Curtis Nelson, Walker, enlisted in the Navy when he was 19-years-old in 1948. He lived in Bismarck, N.D., with his mother. His father had died when he was only 1-year-old so his mother encouraged him to join the Navy to get an education.
