Ron Flug, a Vietnam War veteran, was diagnosed with ALS earlier this year. “Everything takes incredible energy,” he says, but he and his wife, Polly, still share giggles and moments. They laugh out loud when their slow and easy steps toward a lift chair resemble a dance move.
