Historic wedding gowns on display in Franklin

Most wedding gowns are a piece of family history, but Emma Rabaioli's dress is made from a piece of world history. Rabaioli, a lifelong Franklin resident who was married at St. Mary's church in September 1946, made her gown from a Japanese parachute her husband, Ed, sent home while serving in the U.S. Army in World War II.
