Housing Issues Anger Neighbors At City Council Meeting

Most of the packed house at Monday night's City Council meeting in Springfield stormed out unhappy over one of two issues. The Salvation Army wants to put transitional housing on its property at Kansas and Chestnut Expressways, incorporating a work program for homeless people.
