Families and friends of missing University of the Philippines students Karen Empeño and Sherlyn Cadapan as well as farmer Manuel Merino on Sunday commemorated the fifth anniversary of the three's unexplained disappearance, vowing to hold retired Philippine Army Major General Jovito Palparan Jr. and other military officials accountable.
