Local opinion favors drawdown in long fight

LAS CRUCES - Many in Las Cruces say the war in Afghanistan is an unnecessary risk and either agree with the troop pullback announced by President Barack Obama during his speech from the White House Wednesday evening, or would like to see and even faster withdrawl.
