Mexican navy operation rescues shark-bit fisherman in the Pacific; condition listed as stable

MEXICO CITY - The Mexican navy says it has rescued a fisherman who was badly bitten by a shark while at sea. A navy statement says sailors received a distress call Friday from a shark fishing boat near the Revillagigedo Islands off Mexico's Pacific coast.
