Navy Pier to get revamp that will cost taxpayers $155 million

The boards responsible for Navy Pier approved a plan today to revitalize it to attract more year-round and adult visitors.The proposal calls for an expanded Chicago Shakespeare Theater and Chicago Children’s Museum.
