Saturday June 25, 2011 In her screen print "I Pray For Blindness," Lisa Hecht mashes together a newspaper clipping, camouflage pattern and war images to further her investigation of how repeat patterns create literal and socio/political narratives by tugging at our collective memory. Hecht is fascinated by how a repeat pattern can become political.
