RSS Chieftain surfaces as No. 1 vessel

THE RSS Chieftain has been named 'Best Ship' in the Singapore Armed Forces' annual competition to honour the best units across its three services. By putting in a sterling performance last year, the submarine's 28-man crew beat some 30 other vessels - including stealth frigates and missile corvettes of the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) - to the accolade.
